2023 Fundraiser
This will be a Pivotal Year.
Our Association is now at a pivotal juncture and we need your help to succeed.
Among many planned actions for the year ahead, below are some of the strategic ambitions for 2023.
- We will take further steps towards the restoration of areas in Ios that have suffered environmental damage and towards the punishment of those responsible.
- We will also provide input to the pending spatial plan for the island.
- We plan to increase our representation in the municipal council in the upcoming local elections in October through the participation of some of our fellow members.
We will continue with our Association’s mission, we will not allow for beaches on the island to be privatised nor for its wetlands to be destroyed. We are confident that we will succeed.

We will extend the fundraiser by introducing a raffle, to which our fellow members are kindly donating 3 prizes to;
- Joanna Cave jewellery piece
- A painting by the artist, Dimitris Foutris
- A framed print of Ios during the 70’s by photographer, David Halperin.
